What would you love to see in Merlin Project 10?

Marc-Andre-Lussier Hi, if you want to use the same library with your colleague, you need to use to use a folder from a common path and selert in the Merlin Project > Settings > Library tab

Your predecessors' feature request is not clear to me. Would you please send to support@projectwizards.net a sample project with let's say some 2 or 3 activities so I can see why the end is planned for 8h00 the next day?

I would love to be able to change the timelines to match my client, i.e. change Q2 to Q1 etc, so they would be able to relate to the timeframe with quarters that aligned with their model

DT have you tried setting the fiscal year and this didn't work for you?

Hi Vicky, my client's year runs slightly different to fiscal year. I set it to fiscal year thinking that was the right way to go but it is showing me Q2 as the start not Q1 so guessing I am not doing it right or my client has a unique fiscal year setting as they sometimes have a 53 week year.

Hmm that's tricky. The fiscal year starts on the start of a month (selected in the settings) and ends on the last day of the previous month next year. So a fiscal year of '2026-03-28' cannot be set. Now I understand your request. Thanks

To be able to paste from excel into Merlin would be helpful (rather than importing)
ability to sort column by field value order, rather than only alphabetically

Regarding the ability to sort column by field value order, did you checked the sorting feature behind the wrench symbol?

Yes, this is helpful for sorting order of columns, but the options are still only accessing or decending.

Meaning that if I want sort procurement stages or locations as per the arrangement of dropdown or status list custom field, I must number each custom field entry to do so:

1 living room ; 2 kitchen; 3 master bedroom; 4 bedroom 1

1 request for quote ; 2 quote received; 3 accepted; measure; 4 invoice

Hi there,
I have just been playing around with Merlins new AI capability, My Setup: Merlin 9.2 obviously and Claude Desktop App with Pro account. Setting up the mcp server was a breeze and analyzing my project plans with Claude is really cool.
However the much more relevant use case for me would be creating respectively modifying project plans through an AI frontend like Claude:
UC 1: Throwing an entire RfP and / or offer along with our predefined standard project plan templates for a software project into claude and get an initial detail project plan
UC 2: using a meeting minute to have claude modify an existing project plan etc. etc.

At this point I have to export the project plan to MS Project XML, hand this over to Claude with my changes, get the modified XML back and then reopen in Merlin. This is working quite well, but not what one really wants, I guess...

Please, please tell me that modifying / generating project plans through claude desktop directly is on your roadmap.
